The Good Times Bar and Grill Karaoke Contest is over and we have the results.
The Winners are;

$1,000.00 in cash and prizes

2nd Place: Ivory (on the left)
$250.00 in cash and prizes

3rd Place: Theresa (in the middle)
$50.00 in cash and prizes.

Ok, as we all know Mike Tyson showed up at J.R. Brewski's in Gilroy on Friday Night the 11th, however we forgot to bring our camera that night . After enjoying another awsome dinner at JR Brewski's, as I stood up from the dinner table, I noticed a group of people being directed to the dance floor area of the club. Well, I didn't notice that the group of about 25 people included Mike Tyson !! Not until I began looking around the dance floor area at the start of the equipment set up, I was a SHOCKED to see Mike Tyson sitting, facing and watching during the show preparations, and we (DJ Dave and DJ Frankie) had to stay focused on the equipment set up which ussually takes about 25 minutes to complete.

After set up, we quickly started the dance music segment of the show, noticing that Mike and his group was really enjoying themselves !!!

After about 30 minutes into the show there were so many people taking pictures and making phone calls and basically starring at him with endless stares (don't these people blink?), it appeared he was unable to continue relaxing, and the crowd began to close in on the celebrity, so they needed to get some space and eventually needed to leave to get it. 
I had the opportunity to shake hands and talk with Mike a couple times that evening.. And will remember this night as one of excitement and fun!!  I really like being a DJ and Hosting Karaoke events at JR Brewski's in Gilroy California.
